Furthermore, El Bajío's railway connectivity and international airports link it to ten cities in the United States, facilitating the efficient distribution of products throughout North America, South America, Europe, and Asia.

In the last decade, the Bajío region has undergone steady economic growth, recording a noteworthy increase of 134% in exports. This strong economic performance has been primarily driven by strategic sectors such as manufacturing, the automotive industry, and logistics.
